Main area of our trade activity is western Poland which is operated by comapany branches located in Poznań, Szczecin, Głogów, Gdynia, Opole, Wrocław, Katowice, Chojnice and Złotów. Arko was founded in 1991 by president Jan Kotlarski. Since then we have turned into one of the biggest polish FMCG vendors with over 2% of polish market share. The Department of Overseas Cooperation is resposible for foreign trade i.e. export and import. This department is a few person team, whose duties are:

- active sale of food products on the key external markets
- making new trade contacts
- seeking interesting overseas goods and settlement of sale plans for them
- hooking up trading partners
- a strong control of quality systems to ensure the high standard services according to the United Europe requirements

We activelly cooperate with European clients as with the ones from the USA. In our company the Department of Overseas Cooperation collaborates with departments of Marketing and Logistics in order to raise the standards and efficiency of fullfiling export-import duties. This cooperation gives the broad range of services as well. We are keeping expanding territorially in our activity.
